Dan and David Paventi started talking about opening a Pizzeria back in 1994 in their hometown of Syracuse, NY. The owner of the Pizzeria where they were working was talking about getting out of the business and Dan and David saw an opportunity. Fortunately for Charlotte, that opportunity didn't pan out and these two brothers would put their plans on hold for nearly a decade before deciding to revisit their plan in 2004.

On August 1st, 2004 the Paventi's opened their first Pizzeria in the University City area of Charlotte. Located at the corner of West Sugar Creek Road and Harris Boulevard. Paventi's Pizzeria features NY-style thin crust pizza and Buffalo style chicken wings and has quickly become a favorite for residents of North Charlotte. 

Paventi's features a menu loaded with both classic pizzeria favorites and innovative creations that keep our customers coming back for more. Among the favorites is the Italian Special a pie topped with Dan's homemade Garlic and Parmesan sauce, whole milk mozzarella cheese, fresh tomatoes, onions, spinach and a blend of Ricotta and other Italian Cheeses. 

Paventi's is a true American family business. Dan and David, along with their wives, strive to offer the best pizza in Charlotte. They use the freshest vegetables, premium meats and cheeses, and hand make their dough and all of their sauces daily.
